Memorial
A funeral?? Yes, a funeral. Who videotapes a memorial service? Well, let me tell you.
One evening a lady called me and asked if I could tape the funeral service for her father, then afterwards interview some of the people attending and capture their remembrances of the deceased.
Several members of their family are disabled and live a long distance away and so not able to attend the funeral. The family was planning to take the video back to Maine and display it so the other people could be a part of it too.
The service was very nice, but recording the memories of the family and friends was awesome. One man even had cellphone messages that he wanted to share.
I'm sure this video will provide a chance for the other relatives to mourn and express their grief too. It will allow for the sharing of a burden and the opportunity to pay their respects as well
